Treatment of eye diseases in dogs and cats

At the Vetriver Clinic, located near Warsaw in Laski and Latchorzewo, we offer comprehensive ophthalmological care.

The ophthalmological examination includes visual inspection of the eye from a distance, a reflex test, checking the translucency of the optic centers and examining the individual components of the eye under magnification. A slit lamp is used to accurately assess the condition of the eyelids, conjunctiva, cornea, eye chambers, iris and lens, while we use an indirect ophthalmoscope to examine the fundus. During the visit, tests are performed to assess the quantity and quality of the tear film, such as the Schirmer tear test or the fluorescein test using fluorescein dye that gives the possibility to diagnose corneal damage and nasolacrimal duct patency. We also have high quality equipment for measuring intraocular pressure enabling accurate diagnosis of eye diseases.
